Transport Planner Supervisor

The individual does not need to have previous transport or planning experience however an excellent, can-do work ethic is essential. Reliability is also paramount for this role as this department is key to the success of the business.

The shift pattern will be 4 on 4 off working from 7am - 7pm.
Salary is between £22,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include:

- Contact drivers at the beginning of the shift to confirm their movements.
- Monitor drivers movements to ensure drivers arrive at their correct destination and that moves are carried out to plan.
- Log arrival times on daily move spreadsheet.
- Count the number of moves for each customer and inputting these onto the relevant spreadsheets.
- Calculate and log mileage of company vehicles.
- Assist with the daily vehicle planning in line with customer requirements.
- Issue site maps to drivers as required.
- Raise subcontractor requests for any fleet work undertaken and input information.
- Work with the customer to ensure changes to activities are implemented and agreed upon where required.
- Any other general transport office duties.
