**A bit about us**

Sterling PVCU is one of the region's largest fabricators of windows. Doors and conservatories, using both PVCu and Aluminium profile systems. We are a growing team of 110 skilled professionals working across three state-of-the-art factories; Sterling PVCU is committed to providing customers with high-quality products built to last.

Due to ongoing expansion, we are recruiting for a Goods In Operative.

**Position**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Putting profile into designated stillages.
- Unloading composite slabs, hardware and other items and putting them into designated locations through the factory.
- The role is also physically demanding and involves manual handling of components such as composite door slabs. Full training will be given on the safe handling of all components.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- GCSEs/A-levels or equivalents.
- Hardworking individual with a keen eye for detail.
- Reliable with good time keeping skills is essential.
- Ability to lift reasonably heavy loads in accordance with Manual handling at work guidelines.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.00 to 16.30, although from time to time some additional hours might be required to support customer demand, so a degree of flexibility is important.

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour
