Apprentice Send Teaching Assistant

We have 10 apprenticeship vacancies available in Beckfoot Trust’s Special Schools within Bingley and Keighley to start in September 2025. During your apprenticeship you will complete a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (SEND pathway) Apprenticeship, qualifying you to work in schools with children aged 2-19 years.

**Beckfoot Phoenix**

Beckfoot Phoenix Primary Special School, based in Keighley, is an amazing community who work hard to make sure that all our very special children can ‘be the best they can be’. In our school, children come first. They are listened to, respected and nurtured.

Mon 8.45-3.15

Tues 8.45-4.30

Weds 8.45-4.15

Th 8.45-3.30

Fri 8.45-3.15

All staff have a 30-minute lunch break.

Beckfoot Phoenix are currently expanding their provision and will have a site in Braithwaite (current main site) and a site in Oakworth (proposed main site). Staff employed to work at Beckfoot Phoenix may be required to work at either site.

**Beckfoot Hazelbeck**

Beckfoot Hazelbeck Secondary Special school, based in Bingley, is a vibrant and active community with a focus on supporting young people to be as confident and independent as possible, ensuring they are prepared for their future. We are immensely proud of our students and take every opportunity to learn from them and about them. Our aim is to provide an environment where young people are happy, safe, and supported so that they can reach their full potential.

Our ethos and curriculum are designed around our school sentence and is how we want to be remembered: ‘Hazelbeck empowered young people to overcome barriers to learning, connect with others and flourish in their future.’

Tues 8.25-4.20 (alternate Tuesdays)

Weds 8.25 - 3.15

All staff have a 30-minute lunch break.

**Salary**

Approx £18,000 depending on hours
