An RTA (Road Traffic Accident) File Handler in Blackburn is responsible for managing a caseload of motor accident claims, including credit hire cases. Key responsibilities typically include:

- Caseload Management: Handling a portfolio of claims, ranging from small claims to fast track, with potential exposure to multi-track cases.
- Litigation: Managing litigated cases, including drafting legal documents, collecting evidence, obtaining witness statements, and preparing for court hearings.
- Portal Submissions: Submitting claims through the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and Official Injury Claim (OIC) portals.
- Negotiation: Engaging in settlement negotiations with involved parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Experience Requirements:

- A minimum of 1 or 2 years xperience in a law firm, particularly in handling litigated RTA and credit hire cases.
- Proficiency in managing a caseload independently, with experience in fast track and exposure to multi-track cases.
- Familiarity with the MOJ and OIC portals for claim submissions.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and opposing parties.

Pay: £22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
