End Point Assessment Coordinator

Calex is a specialist training and consultancy organisation contracted to a number of market leading automotive manufacturers.

The EPA Coordinator will possess relevant technical automotive experience and will ideally have worked in assessment environment, including having assessed/coached or mentored apprentices in a training and/or workshop environment. The Apprenticeship Programme is responsible for the development of hundreds of apprentices across the UK for Calex managed apprenticeships, working with manufacturers including Stellantis (Peugeot, Citroën, Vauxhall, Jeep and Fiat), Volvo, Porsche and Mazda.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Working closely with the Quality Manager, EPA Manager and apprenticeship programmes to ensure EPA is delivered using the quality systems provided
- Assist with the planning & booking of EPAs across our Apprenticeship Programmes
- Assist in the preparation of logbooks and showcases for EPA Gateways in a timely manner
- Maintain and update all EPA reporting systems and any other administration support as deemed necessary
- Work with End Point Assessment Organisations to ensure smooth planning and delivery of EPA’s
- Operate and administer our Bud Learner Management System (full training provided)
- Monitor & moderate/ sample the quality of apprentice evidence within their EPA logbooks
- Support the Quality Manager with the delivery of standardisation meetings and any Quality Assurance duties deemed fit by the Quality Manager

**Essential Personal Qualities, Qualifications & Skills**:

- Existing Apprenticeship awareness and experience, and linked qualifications. (Desirable)
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. AET, TAP) (Desirable)
- Maths & English GCSE Level 4/C or above (or equivalent) (Highly Desirable)
- Experience in coaching, assessing across multi-disciplined Apprenticeship programmes (Desirable)
- Experience and understanding of the delivery of functional skills in Maths & English (Desirable)
- Demonstrate an outgoing, enthusiastic, and confident personality, with a desire to engage with people
- Strong communication (written & verbal) and organisational skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- The ability to communicate with a variety of people at all levels of an organisation
- Maintain a professional manner at all times
- Demonstrate a pro-active ‘can-do’ attitude
- Good attention to detail
- A proficient user of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

**Salary & Benefits**

**Place of Work**

The successful applicant will work on a hybrid basis from our office near Lutterworth and home. You will also be expected to travel to various training facilities to provide support to the apprenticeship programmes with the EPA process and attending meetings as required. This role also includes supporting our Apprentice Development Coaches during visits with their apprentices in the dealership network.

Permanent, Full Time. Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
