Trinity House Group are excited to be supporting a highly acquisitive Private Equity backed multi site business based in North Birmingham to recruit a talented commercially focussed FP&A Analyst. You will be joining an outstanding high calibre leadership team, reporting to the FP&A Manager who reports directly to the CFO. You will gain career defining experience and exposure business partnering CEO, CFO & Managing Director level stakeholders supportingthe strategic growth plans of the business and "getting in" at the right time to build & develop the commercial finance function and therefore rapidly progress your career and earnings. A truly commercial role with zero month end responsibilities, this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious qualified finance professional to continue developing commercial knowledge. The role: - Support the execution of growth strategies incl M&A and new site expansion - Ownership of the planning, analysis & forecasting function - Collaborating with CEO, CFO, senior operational leaders and budget holders - Contribute to the development and execution of the long term strategy of the business - To have ownership of the budgeting and strategic planning forecasting model - Work with Senior Stakeholders to evaluate new opportunities - Develop, implement and work with BI, planning tools and dashboard reports. - Working with other business functions to define and clearly articulate what an effective business partnering relationship between finance and "the rest of the business" means. You will be / have: - A fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA - ideally with industry experience) - The ability to challenge and influence senior management and team. - A highly effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong excel & modeling ability - Must demonstrate an ability to integrate and work closely with non-finance counterparts in a leadership capacity. - Proactive self-starter and results orientated. - Have an attention to detail that improves forecast integrity, balanced with the ability to see the full financial plan and to be able to articulate the business strategy. - Embraces change and enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment.
