**About the role**

We are looking for a **Finance Assistant **to be part of our Finance team, based in BYD UK, Heston, London area. As Finance Assistant you will organize our company’s day-to-day accounting procedures. You need to maintain records for all transactions, prepare weekly invoice submissions and process reimbursements. If you have a background in Finance and knowledge of bookkeeping activities, we’d like to meet you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage accounts receivable and payable
- Monitor daily transactions and bank reconciliations
- Reconcile accounts with customers and clear customer balances in a timely manner, and send reminders to customers regularly
- Review and process reimbursements
- Issue the sales invoices, credit note, quotation, and PO
- Keep records of the invoices and tax payments
- Identify and address account discrepancies
- Participate in reviewing finance related policies and procedures in line the principle of HQ
- Deal with any queries arising from unallocated in conjunction with external and internal parties
- Support to handle parts of audit report if required
- Previous work experience as Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant, or similar role would be beneficial
- Hands-on experience with accounting software, Xero or QuickBooks would be an advantage
- MS Excel skills up to an intermediate level (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
- Time-management and organization skills
- Has right-to-work in the UK

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-24 months

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
