Project Surveyor

The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of a cost efficient, customer orientated planned maintenance works and services.
HNC/degree and/or membership of a recognised professional body or equivalent qualification or a minimum three years of working as a qualified surveyor
Able to demonstrate previous successful experience of complex surveying and building and technical maintenance issues and present them to a group of staff, internal, external, customer and elected members
The main responsibilities associated with this role are as follows;
To deliver the Associations' Asset Management Strategy, ensuring that our objectives are achieved by contributing to and delivering strategies and policies relating to the maintenance of its stock
To be proactive in networking and liaising with internal and external customers and other organisations in order to meet the business objectives and to learn best practice
Deputise in own area for the General Manager as required.
Provide advice to staff on technical matters and problems arising and resolve operational issues.
Keep up to date on legislation and good practice in the industry. Advise managers of any changes.
Carry out detailed risk assessments and reviews in line with current regulations.
The client is looking to move quickly with appointing to this position and as such is offering an annual salary of £49,800 + £1,200 p/annum Car Allowance, plus a very competitive benefits package.
