**Finance Assistant (Invoice Variance Controller)**

**Role purpose**
This is an Administrative role whereby you will review variances which arise within the invoice matching process. Identifying root cause of these variances and working with internal and external stakeholders to minimise them. As well as proving seamlesscustomer service to our managed pubs with any queries they have.
Our Invoice Variance Controller role is a hybrid working position that is based from our Bury St Edmunds office, however this means a 50/50 split can occur between being based in the office/your home or 100% office based if you prefer.
**Responsibilities**
- Deal with invoice matching variances in a timely manner, as defined within the service partnership agreement
- Provide a seamless service to General Managers who require credits for short delivered or spoiled products via our Pub Query System or over the phone.
- Create a culture of challenge around variances encountered and always strive to eradicate root causes
- Establish if and where a process has failed and take the necessary steps to prevent future issues. Be comfortable recommending process changes where required
- Ad hoc tasks as requested

**Technical/Professional**
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to analyse data
- Knowledge of ERP system for example dynamics 365 or SAP (advantageous but not essential)
