**Business Development Manager - Sout West England & Wales**

Our client is a specialist lender that provides a wide range of funding facilities and deposit accounts for individuals, businesses, and charities.

An exceptional opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Business Development Manager to join an established business that can provide the necessary resources and development opportunities for an individual to thrive and grow their career.

The BDM shall develop and introduce Bridging loans and secondary Development and Structured Finance loans to the lender. This is predominantly conducted via regular visits, telephone, and online interaction with intermediary relations in Wales and SouthWest England.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and maintain a strategic diary of appointments to develop credible and trust-based relationships with introducer base.
- Actively seek and grow new sources of business from inbound enquiry, requests for broker registration, existing contracts, industry journals and elsewhere.
- Maximise bridging sales from introducer base by building relationships, identifying competitive advantage and other opportunities such as product innovation.
- Analysis of Property business levels to identify opportunities and manage any decreasing business from introducers.
- Develop and introduce new relationships and business to both Development & Structured Finance
- Work to and achieve agreed annual targets for each lending division set out and agreed with the Sales Director.
- Attendance at exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and other opportunities as required.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and exceed expectations wherever possible.
- Ensure that introducers are serviced efficiently with any problems resolved swiftly.
- Record all contacts and details of meetings on the company CRM system

Skills and Experience required:

- Highly motivated individual, committed to providing outstanding service to customers and clients.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Business Development position.
- Bridging & Property BDM background preferred however will consider other BDM backgrounds within the financial services sector such as Buy to Let and Commercial.
- Ability to communicate on different levels, both verbally and in writing.
- A good team player, willingness to help their team to achieve its goals
- Commitment to high level of customer service.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory environment.
- Intermediary relations across Wales and SW England

What’s on offer?

Basic salary up to £80k plus £6k car allowance, benefits, and an annual bonus. (up to 30%)
