We have recently reviewed our team structure and services and as a result we have updated our team roles and benchmarked our rewards. An opportunity has arisen to join the TaxAssist Support Centre as a **Senior Payroll Associate **to join our friendly team based in Norwich on the Broadland Business Park.

TaxAssist Direct Services Ltd provide outsourced payroll services to our 200+ strong network and their clients. Our recent successes have led to increased demand and we are looking to expand our team.

**The role**
- To ensure delivery of payroll services to agreed service levels
- To manage and process a number of franchisee and client payrolls, including onboarding and processing using BrightPay Payroll software.
- Ensure statutory payroll and pension monthly and annual returns are prepared and submitted in a timely manner
- Ensure statutory compliance on all pay related practices and guidance given to clients, franchisees and our technical support team
- To keep abreast of all statutory legislation
- To maintain Payroll Bureau Procedures in general and for each client
- To manage day-to-day pay related enquiries including pay, pension, furlough matters for franchisees, clients and our technical support team
- To assist and support the team as reasonably required

You must be able to work independently with appropriate support. You will be confident in engaging with franchisees and clients to build a rapport and offer solutions and direction. You must be able to concurrently manage a number cases for franchisees and clients.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Recent experience in payroll services as part of an outsourced team recent experience on payroll bureau/chartered accountancy practice preferred.
- Experience with payroll management software, Brightpay preferred
- Excellent time management and workload prioritisation skills
- Excellent phone and verbal communications and active listening skills, internally and externally
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work well within a team
