**Responsibilities**:

- Designing and delivering IT courses to meet the learning needs of further education students.
- Developing teaching and learning resources and materials that support effective learning.
- Assessing students' progress and providing timely feedback on their work.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress, attendance and performance.
- Providing academic and pastoral support to students, including identifying and addressing any additional support needs.
- Keeping up to date with developments in IT education and incorporating them into teaching practice.
- Collaborating with other tutors and academic staff to ensure high quality provision for students.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of the Academy's IT curriculum.

**Requirements**:

- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent).
- Experience of teaching IT to further education students.
- A sound understanding of the principles of effective teaching, learning and assessment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An enthusiastic, student-centred approach to teaching and learning.

**Salary and Benefits**:

- The salary for this position is competitive and will be based on qualifications and experience.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
