**Senior Analytics Manager - £60,000 - Edinburgh (Hybrid)**
My client is looking for either an aspiring Analytical manager, or a Senior Analyst with team lead experience to come and join their growing business. Working primarily within the Data and Marketing department you will be responsible for a small team taskedwith dealing with large datasets, and producing reports and data strategies to fuel marketing and business intelligence. Success in this role has the potential to develop into a Head of Data position.
**This role will be based in Edinburgh and will require you to work on-site 2/3 days per week.**
**The role of a Senior Analytics Manager involves**
- Using advanced data modeling, predictive modeling and analytical techniques to create actionable insights
- Overseeing the design and delivery of cross-functional special data projects to support growth
- Visualising and Optimising the entire customer marketing journey; across acquisition and retention to upsell and reactivation
- Building, developing and maintaining data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
- Performing ad-hoc analysis on performed split tests, testing different audiences responses to different offers, helping shape future campaigns
**Experience required**
- 4+ years' experience working in a data analyst or equivalent role
- Experience managing employees in technical roles
- Experience managing and rolling out technical projects and development opportunities
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python
- Advanced knowledge of a statistical modelling tool such as R, Stata or equivalent
- Experience in data visualisation tools such as Qlik and Tableau
- Experience in creating reports for BI purposes
**Desirable skills**
- 2+ years' experience working in subscription ecommerce or recurring revenue businesses
- Experience working with marketing KPIs such as LTV and retention
- Theoretical understanding of databases and database tables
