Site Supervisor

As RMD Contracts continue to build on their excellent reputation and 35 years of experience in the market. They are responsible for a number of M&E and fit-out projects throughout the region within the following categories: Office, Hospitality, Retail, Education, Medical and Refurbishments.

Due to recent success, we have an exciting opportunity for a site Supervisor. The person will be responsible for supervising in-house labour and subcontractors. The role will require the supervisor to assist and help project managers to plan and manage the day to day work on site. The supervisor will manage projects ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget in a safe manner. The supervisor must maintain high levels of H&S on site at all times whilst completing audits and reports. The role will be to assist the Project manager with regards to expansion and growth whilst maintaining relationships with the clients and occupants of the building.

Previous experience is essential and know how to drive projects with an eye for detail and be able to negotiate, costs, schedules and problems to maximise financial delivery. The correct person will have a go get it attitude and be willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in to achieve the strategic goals.**Duties**:

- Manage day-to-day running of the site, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, effectively and on time
- Ensure the site complies with H&S regulations, maintain risk assessments, method statements and audits, competent to check, approve and sign off H&S Documentation
- Attend and host Pre-start and progress meetings (H&S, temporary works, attendances, vertical & horizontal distribution).
- Creating and managing schedules (H&S, Programme’s, snag lists, etc)
- Work closely with all sub-contractors and other construction professionals develop relationships with trust and respect
- Liaise and report to the Project Manager
- Co-ordinate on-site operations from beginning to end, within agreed time, safely to budget and ensure quality standards and objectives are achieved
- Manage site logistics, deliveries and materials
- Provide regular progress updates and conduct regular project reviews with visiting contractors / Project Manager
- Quality control: check against project specifications and standards.
- Temporary works; coordinator, supervisor
- Responsible for compiling the information for the O&M at the end of the project
- Ensuring all Requests for Information (RFIs) are recorded and closed out

**Key Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- Proven track record within a project team and being responsible for the day to day running of projects.
- Ability to read and implement project drawings and identify potential problems
- SMSTS
- CSCS card
- Good time keeping and attendance
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Good attitude to work
- Be willing to go through security clearance checks (DBS)
- Microsoft word and excel knowledge. Basic AutoCAD knowledge is preferable

**Desirable**:

- Good all-round knowledge of all trades relating to building works and fit out.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in construction
- Temporary works Coordinator training
- Scaffold awareness training
- Fire Marshal training
- Asbestos awareness training
- 3 day first aid trained

Pay: £36,500.00-£39,950.00 per year
