Logistics Support Administrator

Our client is a leading car repair and maintenance parts specialist based in chesterfield. They are now looking to recruit a Logistics Support Administrator to work within their Logistics Office.

Main Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring control procedures are followed for all incoming and outgoing trailer/containers; dock door management, directing drivers to relevant bays, instructing them on-site procedures including Health & Safety
- Completion of all Goods In/Out relevant paperwork and ensure drivers leave the site with the necessary paperwork correctly completed
- Manage delivery documents ensuring they are filed daily and shared with the team
- Liaising with the Inbound Management team, communicating any issues with delivery/supplier paperwork, incorrect deliveries and any shop floor queries.
- Liaise with the Customer Care team in matters relating to customer orders and the dispatch of goods
- Act as the main point of contact for order collections by local customers. Ensure accurate records are maintained and any issues communicated appropriately
Desired Skills:
- Experience working within a warehouse/ logistics environment
- Excellent administrative skills & telephone manner
- Excellent planning and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work
- Extremely well organised with focus on customer service
