**What you will do?**

The successful applicant will provide technical support for learners and teaching staff. This position will allow you to pass on your knowledge to a future generation of engineers by providing guidance on the use of equipment and practical processes associatedwith Engineering disciplines preparing learners for End Point Assessment and progressing them through their apprenticeship and any functional skills.

In order to be successful in this role, you will haveindustry experience, along with a recognised level 3 Engineering qualification and ideally a minimum of a level 2 qualification in maths and English. You will either have or be willing to work towardsthe TAQA Assessor Qualification. Experience of supporting teaching and learning in a workshop environment or workplace would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly to meet pressing deadlines, and be customer focused with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will also be required to assist in a technician support role maintaining workshop areasand organising stock and equipment.

**This post attracts a recruitment and retention premium with a salary up to £33,112 per annum.**

This is a permanent, full-time post and the starting salary will depend upon an individual’s level of experience. Regional travel will be required as part of the role; therefore use of your own transport, a current valid driving license and business insuranceis essential.
