Working 20 hours a week as an Administrator, you will effectively support the referral, assessment, and admission processes to maximise bed occupancy and support your colleagues with additional administrative support. You will also support the ongoing processesfor enhanced support and observations.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Efficient and effective assistance of the referral, assessment and admission processes to maximise bed occupancy. Ensure pre and post admission checklist roles are completed by named individuals.
- Handles external and internal admissions enquiries, directing queries as appropriate. Liaises with external organisations with regard to patient discharges and transfers. Support clinical teams to ensure discharge and transfers meet best practice standards.
- Ensuring prompt and professional communication with external referrers, funders and the Home Office in relation to patient admissions and possible transfer between services.
- Liaises with key unit personnel to ensure that Referral and Assessment Policy timeframes are adhered to.
- Updates service user details within CARE notes and other clinical databases ensuring accuracy of all data input.
- Complete all requests for EPCs (Extra Package of Care funding request) track response from NHS England and log on data base.
- Liaise with ward staff to ensure timely completion of observations reports and send to head office to enable these to be charged to commissioners. Maintain log of all charges.
- Assisting with the filing of legal documents.
- Minuting meetings

**To be successful in this role, you'll need**:

- IT skills including Microsoft Office
- A keen eye for detail
- Communication and organisational skills
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent
- Knowledge of mental health act (desirable)
