**We are currently recruiting for an Events & Groups Planning Executive within our Central Team who will be responsible to work with clients on event planning and final details at 6 hotels in Central London cluster**

**Overview**:

- This is an amazing opportunity for a talented individual to join our team.
- As Events & Groups Planning Executive, you will be working within a very dynamic team and outstanding product offering and will be the pivotal link between the client and our operational team at hotels, ensuring smooth preparation for the clients’ event, communication of final details, upselling of additional services.
- You will be utilizing sales skills to understanding and communicating customer requirements, you will be efficient and organised to convert to the maximum revenue potential of each event.
- You will need to ensure that the clients’ requirements are met and exceeded, during and after their event and in a follow up after the event.

**About You**:

- Current Meetings and Events Sales experience within a 4 or 5 Star hotel environment.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Natural telesales ability including business closing skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to provide consultative selling to customers and to promote Edwardian Hotels London services
- Desire to meet and exceed client needs
- Be able to generate new revenue opportunities including repeat business, up-selling services, including but not limited to F&B and accommodation revenue
- Excellent time management skills and organising skills.
- You’re a quick learner keen to understand the intricate details of event planning, including but not limited to dietary requirements, food & beverage menus, set up and capacities, rooming lists and check in / check out processes, room blocks and allocation management, etc.
- You are a positive and a reliable individual, happy to work as part of a team, you are self-motivated and organised, with passion for hospitality industry. You are career - oriented, driven by success and achievements, you love fun, people, travel and hospitality.
