**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a **Procurement & Store Apprentice**. This entry-level apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience in both procurement and retail/store operations, with the support of a structured training programme leading toward a recognised qualification (such as Level 3 Business Administration or Procurement and Supply Assistant Standard).

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Procurement Duties**:

- Assist with placing and tracking purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and availability
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases
- Support sourcing of new suppliers and evaluation of quotations
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely supply of materials
- Contribute to supply chain improvements and ensure compliance with quality standards

**Warehouse/Store Duties**:

- Assist internal staff by providing product information and handling inquiries
- Receive deliveries, check items, book stock into the system, and allocate to jobs
- Monitor part shortages and notify the Purchasing team
- Learn and use the company’s stock and inventory management system
- Perform weekly cyclic stock checks and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Pick build kits with accuracy and efficiency
- Support store layout organization and ensure alignment with company standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment
- Learn and adhere to company policies on health and safety, loss prevention, and customer service

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent
