The Plastic surgery department at ENHT provides a 24-hour, 7-day a week trauma and emergency service. We’re looking for proactive, motivated, forward thinking and dynamic individual to join the plastic surgery team as a Trauma coordinator/booking clerk.
You will facilitate provision of an efficient and high standard of care to these patients and will work closely with existing colleagues (including the medical team) and patients, ensuring a seamless, high-quality trauma/emergency service.
Plastic Surgery at the ENHT aims to provide the best quality of care to all patients, with 9 consultants and an administrative team of 7 the Plastics team are all based on level 11 of the lister hospital along with the hand therapy team, Minor ops and Plastic dressing clinic.

To confirm final trauma list for the following day ensuring notes are available patients know where to present, to call patients pre and post op and help meet their individual needs.
You will also be supporting the Clerical team to suit the service needs, mornings you will be managing the trauma list, afternoons you would be helping the booking team.
To be the first point of contact for all trauma patients and communicate effectively with patients
To liaise with medical, nursing, support and administrative staff
Take part in all relevant training and professional development
Plastic Surgery is a supportive team to work in, all team members have a excellent working relationship with each other from clinical to no clinical staff we provide support for one another and have great work ethics.
