BS Social Care are proud to be working alongside an independent, stand alone children's residential service in their hunt to find a skilled and experienced residential support worker to join the team.
The organisation have provided care to children and young people in Darlington since 2001 and are looking to continue their 'good' Ofsted rating, and hopefully push towards 'outstanding'.
You will have a proving history of working with young people, ideally in a residential setting. You will work with the manager as part of the team to provide a safe and secure environment for the young people to flourish in. You will have experience in drawingup and following care plans, risk plans and risk assessment plans.
Ideally you will have a relevant NVQ3 or equivalent in health and social care or children's residential/working force. You will have a caring nature and will also have a history of being able to work with challenging behaviors being resilient and understandingat all times.
Once in the staff team, the home will work with you in career progression, putting you through relevant qualifications to give you the chance of more senior roles and responsibilities.
The house is the young persons home and the organisation like to provide a caring, family like provision and you will understand that model and embrace it. This is a great staff team to join and we welcome innovative ideas from the full staff team.
