The Housing Solutions service is looking for a Housing Solutions Assistant to join the team.

The Housing Solutions Assistants are the main point of contact for those contacting our service for Housing Advice. Along with working on the front line, you will also work closely with colleagues from other departments. You will be responsible for assessing Housing Register Applications, including carrying out verification checks as part of the assessment. In addition to other admin tasks, such as raising purchase orders, organising Subject Access Requests where required.

You must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills and have the ability to plan and organise your workload.

**Role Responsibilities**:
The role of a Housing Solutions Assistant is to provide great customer service and appropriate advice and information to personal and telephone callers to the Housing Solutions Service. The Housing Solutions Assistant is to act as a point of contact for visitors and partner agencies, ensuring the correct information is passed on to the appropriate teams.

You will need:

- To co-ordinate and support the statutory reviews and complex cases service including case research and liaison with solicitors.
- To triage applicants who call as Homeless and through referrals received by the Duty to Refer officers.
- To assist with admin tasks such as preparing Housing files, when requested.
