Real Care Support are currently recruiting for our home in the Preston, Lancashire area to work in a therapeutically led 3 bedroom home for children aged 11-17 who have experienced childhood trauma and or neglect, possibly leading to Social & Emotional Behavioural challenges. Our home is a large beautiful, detached house, recently renovated to a high standard throughout.
Your job role will involve you working closely with children in care with you putting them at the centre of everything you do. Your day to day role will require you to support them in all aspects of their lives such as educational pursuits, hobbies and activities.
You will be part of the Real Care Support Team and be supported in your day to day job role by a friendly and supportive management team. We will supply you with extensive and relevant training to support you and ensure your career development. You will also be supported to achieve a formal qualification.

**What will I do as a Residential Support Worker?**
- Using your experience and skills - further developed with our support and training, you will assist with the care of our children and young people.
- All of our homes adopt therapeutic practice, giving you the opportunity to develop into a specialist care provider. Training also includes reflective practice to consistently improve the way we care for children.
- You will create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.
- You will create timetables, setting boundaries and expectations for the young people. Consistency and organisation skills are key.
- You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support
**WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU**:
- £11.28 per hour for 165 hours per month £1861.20 gross per month) this will increase to £11.70 per hour once you have completed your NVQ in residential childcare (all fully funded by the company) (Gross £1930.50 per month)
- 7-10 x sleeps per month paid in addition to basic above at £50 per sleep (up to £500 per month)
- We used structured pay grades, so salary is based on your training and experience so that you are always paid fairly.
- **Bonuses **- Receive a bonus for achieving ‘Outstanding’. Also receive a bonus for a service award on your two-year anniversary.
- **Increased Holiday **- Option to buy holidays and increased allowance from 210 hours to 232.5 hours after 3 years’ service

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,036.00 per year
