**This is the job**:
Have you started a career in SEO in the last few years, and are now looking for a new challenge? We’re looking for somebody who wants to work with a website that covers a diverse range of content themes and targets a variety of interesting Online Search Markets. We’re a small, focused team with big ambitions - working with a well-respected UK brand and exciting website (the AA).

The SEO Executive works in the Group SEO Manager’s team, supporting them and the Technical SEO manager. Working with an Editor, they are collectively responsible for delivering all aspects of the AA’s SEO campaigns across new business, retention and digital service. They are an established in-house SEO team, who collaborate closely with developers, designers, editors, other colleagues and agency partners to ensure every opportunity is taken to improve rankings.

The SEO Executive will work across all areas of SEO, including regular and ad-hoc reporting, onsite and offsite analysis. Delivering reporting in a consistent, accurate manner on time will be a key responsibility for this role - including identifying trends, opportunities and issues in data and communicating them to the wider SEO team and business units.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Deliver all SEO reports on time, accurately
- Contribute to insights and plans in line with latest tools and SEO industry techniques
- Produce analysis of reports and supporting data, identify issues and opportunities and communicating them to the SEO team and business units in timely, easy-to-understand manner
- Deliver SEO work to support campaigns that meet Breakdown Cover targets
- Identify new areas of opportunity in key SEO Verticals
- Keep track of developing and emerging user trends in online search
- Deliver SEO work as needed to support other business areas; Insurance, Driving School and Digital Service
- Support website technical audits and implementation of findings
- Assist with content calendar formation and delivery of new website content
- Own content calendar formation and delivery in specific product verticals, including supporting the AA’s Marketplace strategy and new product areas such as Smart Care
- Ensure suppliers and internal colleagues deliver reports and tasks on time to a high level of accuracy and quality
- Monitor competitor activity, promptly communicating change and quickly actioning any resulting changes

**What do I need?**:
**Capability, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Good understanding of SEO developed already, including:

- Google algorithms
- onsite optimisation
- content production and optimisation
- outreach, digital PR and linking strategies
- integration with Brand and Content Marketing
- Good experience in creating SEO reports including rankings and traffic analysis
- Experience in improving and streamlining SEO reporting setup
- SEO analytical skills, with some experience of analytics tools such as GA360 and GSC
- Experience of SEO tools - eg Screamingfrog and SEM Rush.
- Strong attention to detail and a curiosity about SEO are vital
- An understanding of website technologies
- A clear understanding of how search fits into the overall marketing mix
- Good numeracy skills
- MS Office skills - Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- The ability to work across multiple projects to deadline concurrently
- Able to work under pressure, at speed, to meet deadlines while achieving high quality results
- Outstanding communication skills
- Capable of working on tasks alone or as part of a team
