We are currently looking for complex needs support workers to support in the classroom and also during lunch times and breaktimes. The role is to work within a specialist unit supporting young people with complex needs who are aged 3-19. with a wide variety of additional needs including complex medical needs, Autism and Speech Language & Communication Needs (SLCN). Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

Experience and understanding SEND is necessary and knowledge of skills such as alternative communication techniques and manual handling would be beneficial.

With a team of support staff and the Teacher you are required to safeguard and to protect the welfare of young people.

Requirements for the role
- Experience of supporting young people or adults with SEND and complex needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong positive behaviour support skills
- Comfortable to deliver personal care if required
- A caring and positive approach
- Flexible and adaptable
- Care qualification or degree is desirable but not a must

Working hours are school hours 8.45 - 3.15. We are looking for both full time and part time support workers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £85.00-£100.00 per day
