**Location**: Travel between RAF Cosford (WV7 3EX), MoD Stafford (ST18 0AQ), RAF Donnington (TF2 8JT) and other sites in the area
**Working Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00-4:30, Friday 8:00-3:00
VIVO are currently recruiting for a Mobile Multi Skilled Operative to join our team of 11 based in SDA 13.
You will be undertaking primarily reactive, commercial works to buildings on multiple sites, including RAF Cosford, MoD Stafford, RAF Donnington and RAF Shawbury and the surrounding area using your provided work van.
We are looking for someone who enjoys variety in their workload and who wants to lend a hand to a variety of trades and skills. Your day-to-day tasks can include anything from legionella flushing, inspections, systems testing, painting and other minor maintenance tasks. You will have your tasks scheduled for you and you will sign into the nearest site before undertaking any work. Although there will be some lone working, you will primarily working within a team to deliver works.
There are many opportunities within this role for professional development, including online training and other qualifications available if desired.
What you’ll need for this role
First and foremost, this role is a mobile position and will include driving a company vehicle, therefore it is essential that you are comfortable with travelling and hold a full and valid UK driving licence. You will have previous experience in a commercial handyperson role, with skills such as basic carpentry and painting and decorating.
You will need good IT skills, as you will be using laptops, tablets and other devices as part of your work. It is also important you have good communication skills as will be communicating with customers and clients. You will also need to be able to work within a team and alone if necessary.
It is desirable that you have experience of operating within an MOD environment and have familiarity with geography and establishments within area of responsibility
You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be considered for this role.
