**Job Title**: Yard Team Member

**Reporting To**: UK Environmental Manager

**Shift**: Night Shift from Wednesday to Saturday

**Location**: Lantmännen Unibake, Wallis Way, Eastcotts, Bedford, MK42 0PE

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Yard Team Member to join our team at Lantmännen Unibake. This is a pivotal role, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of yard operations while maintaining high standards in waste management and site cleanliness.

**Skills & Requirements**:
**Key Responsibilities**

As a Yard Team Member, you will be responsible for:

- Emptying product waste bins into compactors and ensuring they are cleaned before returning to the bakery.
- Managing clean packing waste by using the appropriate baler and storing baled waste on the trailer.
- Handling office waste, separating general and recyclable materials into the correct skips.
- Monitoring and reporting compactor levels, LPG, red diesel, and consumables daily.
- Maintaining site safety during adverse weather by clearing snow and salting paths, car parks, and yard areas.

**Essential Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in FLT driving.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of continuous improvement processes and the seven types of waste.
- Ability to follow strict operational procedures and safety protocols.

**Shift Pattern**

Set shift patten from Wednesday to Saturday 6:00pm to 6:00am

**Pay Rates**
- Night Shift: Starting from £16.08 per hour.
- Overtime: Earn an impressive £22.51 per hour.
