**General Builder**

Devon Builders Ltd are seeking a talented general builder with experience in all aspects of the trade to join our team. We are passionate about delivering exceptional results, and we are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic general builder to join us.
- Bricklaying
- Carpentry
- Minor plumbing works
- Groundworks
- Drainage
- Roofing
- Internal and External finishes

and not to be afraid to push a barrow or a broom, to deliver high-quality results on every project.

You will be responsible for accurately following plans and job specs, ensuring accuracy and completing work to our high standards, meeting safety standards and moving materials between job sites.

**Additional Duties**
- Reading plans and sketches to understand specifications and requirements
- Taking measurements and making size and quantity calculations
- Managing materials, tools and equipment on site
- Communicating with other construction professionals, customers and suppliers
- Working without supervision, following safety guidelines
- Assisting with general builder duties when the need arises

**Builder Requirements**
- Three years of experience in residential building
- Ability to understand plans and diagrams
- Knowledge of construction health and safety
- Proficiency in using manual and electrical tools and equipment
- Good maths skills
- Excellent hands-on experience with a variety building techniques
- Good communication
- Willingness to learn, develop and get stuck in on any project
