**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Carrying out Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental (QSHE) internal audits and site inspections across the Group’s locations.
- Carrying out checks and updating records to monitor compliance on a regular basis.
- Obtaining, reviewing and evaluating necessary documentation related to sub-contractors.
- Organising and delivering employee induction.
- Obtaining and reviewing necessary documentation from contractors, delivering contractors’ induction and maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting with the provision of QSHE and Product Safety awareness programs to staff through various campaigns.
- Responding to employees’ queries or concerns about potential safety, environmental and health issues and discuss suggestions for improvements.
- Participating in the investigating and reporting of accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Gathering data and completing all aspects of QSHE administration tasks ensuring records are updated.
- Producing and updating appropriate communication material including signage and posters.
- Assisting in the review of current QSHE policies, procedures, regulations and legislation.
- Travelling to Group’s locations and customer sites in GB & Ireland as required.
- Continually work with line managers to heighten their safety responsibilities for their respective teams.

2 years’ experience of working within a similar role

Experience working to ISO standards Internal auditing experience

NEBOSH Certificate

The successful applicant will be self-motivated with the ability to identify new opportunities, have the ability to prioritise workload and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. They will be experienced in QSHE management systems and procedures.

**Desirable knowledge and experience**:
Knowledge of BRC Global Standards

Previous experience in QSHE Management systems and procedures.

Knowledge of current QSHE legislation.
