We're looking for a Health and Safety Officer to work for our client.

Our client is one of the UK and Ireland's leading logistics providers. With 5 companies and 600 employees, their core business is assisting and coordinating the movement of logistics services across Ireland, the UK, Europe and worldwide by providing best in-class customs brokerage and freight forwarding services.

Due to continued growth and development within the industry, they are now seeking a Health and Safety Officer to join the team

If you can demonstrate experience of working to ISO standards and managing internal or external audits then you could be perfect for our client and we'd love to see your CV.**The Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in the documentation and management of QSHE policies, procedures, regulations and legislation
- Carrying out audits and inspections across the Group’s locations
- Assisting with the provision of awareness programs to staff through training and briefings
- Participating in the investigating of accidents and near misses
- Reviewing and creating health and safety documentation, such as quality procedures, risk assessments, COSHH assessments etc
- Dealing with QSHE enquiries from internal and external sources**Requirements**:

- NEBOSH Certificate or be actively working towards qualification
- 2 years’ experience of working within a similar role
- Experience working to ISO standards
- Hands-on experience of internal and external auditing
- Previous experience of H&S Management systems and procedures
- Strong knowledge of current legislation
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a small team
- Excellent analytical, report writing and presentational skills**The Package**:
