We are recruiting a Finance Assistant to help support the delivery of an accurate and efficient finance function within a high performing social housing environment.

You should enjoy working with numbers and be an enthusiastic team player. Ideally, you’ll have an eye for detail and an interest in using IT to provide a great finance administration service. If you like the sound of working in a resilient sector with opportunities for learning, career development and flexible working whilst making a real difference to the wider community then this opportunity could be ideal for you.

You’ll be part of a staff team of 32 so you’ll be able to build close working relationships and communicate with a diverse team. This role will involve working alongside repairs and housing management colleagues to ensure the smooth delivery of finance support.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to suppliers
- To support a range of activities involving nominal ledger postings, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation
- Supervising petty cash
- Keeping the supplier and contractor list up to date.
- Assist with the annual audit by gathering invoice information as required.
- Carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by management.

West Highland Housing Association is offering an excellent remuneration package which includes 25 days paid leave per year plus 15 public holidays plus the option to buy/sell up to 5 days leave and a contributory pension scheme.
