Digital Delivery Coordinator

**About the role**
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a **Digital Delivery Co-ordinator** to join our Highways team to work in **Guildford.**

**Role Profile**:
To support the Project Delivery Manager and team in the implementation, regular review and delivery of a Project Digital Strategy, execution plan, digital standards, methodology and procedures.

Ensure compliance with Balfour Beatty, Customer, Government and project standards and procedures relating to Digital and owning the integration within the Project to deliver a successful Digital project. Particular focus is to be given to Balfour Beatty's BSI accreditation, procedures and PAS1192 compliance.

Support the project delivery team and ensure co-ordination with other project stakeholders, including:
BS1192 - Responsibilities - Interface Manager
- Resolving spatial coordination issues with other Task Team Interface Manager;
- Escalating unresolved coordination issues to the Design/Construction Lead;
- Keeping the Task Team updated with agreed resolutions and progress of ongoing resolutions.

**What you'll be doing**
As a **Digital Delivery Co-ordinator,** you will:

- Support the Digital Delivery Manager (DDM) to produce the Project Information Management Plan and Digital Execution Plan and all documents to meet the Customer Requirements in the Employer Information Requirements;
- Support the Project Team in the delivery of Graphical, Non Graphical and Documents as an Interface manager;
- Support the DDM to educate people, implement process and use technology during the project delivery phase construction phase; and to develop model (s) with data integrated into the design, construction and facilities operation/maintenance all in accordance with the Project Execution Plan;
- Support with the educating the project team and Supply Chain members for the use and development of the Project Information Model Graphical and Non Graphical (3D Model);
- Support the Project team to implement processes/culture/technology:

- which can be used during the Construction phase aid in reviewing potential conflicts and work with the team in resolving the issues;
- which can be used during the Construction phase aid in reviewing potential conflicts and work with the team in resolving the issues;
- so that Programme can be linked to the Detailed Design Model i.e. 4D for Construction and own/support;
- so that costs can be linked to the Model i.e. 5D for Construction and own/support;
- so that an As Built model is created for Handover and Commissioning and own/support;
- so that Asset Information/data can be linked to the model producing a 6D Model for Handover and Commissioning own/support i.e Generating/Managing Asbuilt information;
- for Digital Site Management Techniques / mobile tech;
- Research, develop, implement, review new ways of working which will benefit the project by increasing efficiency, reducing cost, improve quality, sustainability and aiming for Zero Harm Collate data for senior management review;
- Provide on-going internal training / technical orientation to new staff / external training;
- Facilitate 3D coordination meetings with Internal and external project partners;
- Demonstrate the Balfour Beatty Core behaviours;
- Collaborate Relentlessly;
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm;
- Promote the Benefits of Digital Project Delivery in the processes of 4d,4d,5d,6d to others;
- Facilitate the process of the Digital Coordination between project participants.

**Who we're looking for** Personal Qualities & Experience**

**Essential**:

- BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng, HND/HDC or qualified by experience with an understanding and proven delivery of infrastructure or Building managing multiple processes / schemes;
- NVQ Level 5 or equivalent Project/Educational experience;
- Understanding of BIM Level 2 Standards and Protocols;
- Mentors all variations of Digital Technicians and Digital Engineers;
- An understanding of the latest industry guidelines for Digital project delivery such as BS and PAS;
- Technician Membership achieved. Approaching next level of Professional Membership;
- Demonstrable track record of delivering a high-quality product to tight deadlines;
- Experience in design review process, model management, lead BIM clash detection meeting and manage results to resolution;
- Ability to deliver COBie assets requirements;
- Working knowledge of project CDE environment;
- Primary Software Skills in Model Authoring. Relative to Project Requirements;
- Be proficient in the use of 4D simulation software and extrapolate 5D quantities take-off from models;
- Valid CSCS card;
**Desirable**:

- Some understanding of Design, Construction, Surveying and Asset Management;
- Presentation and meeting organisation / leading coordination sessions;
- Synchro Software experience or equivalent;
