**The Role**

**As a Theatre Administrator you will;**
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the standards and timescales required.
- Handle queries within the remit of own role and escalate more complex / serious issues to senior staff where required.
- Be point of contact for any visitors to Theatre department.
- Deal appropriately with phone calls into the department.
- Amend/changes to theatre list orders.
- Update the National Joint Register.
- Be a Health & Safety representative.
- Scan and archive documents.
- Attend and minute take the Theatre team meetings.

**The Person**

To succeed as a Theatre Administrator you will have;
- Experience in theatre and hospital admin process
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Good IT and Key Board Skills
- Good organisation and analytical skills
- Experience of working in a customer facing / medical environment
- Knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology

**Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital**

Opened in 1993 and close to the centre of Haywards Heath, the Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital provides a wide range of medical services from minor procedures through to major surgical specialties. With three operating theatres - 1 is laminar flow, comprehensive outpatient facilities including a 3T MRI scanner, an excellent onsite pre-assessment clinic, physiotherapy department and 26 en-suite rooms on the ward.

Ours is a well-planned hospital with a clean, modern environment. We are proud of our consistently high standards of patient care which is delivered by our fantastic team throughout the whole patient journey.
