We're on the lookout for a Team Leader to join our Debt Recovery team, where you will be responsible for the day to day running and management of a team. The Debt Recovery Team are responsible for ensuring maximum Client conversion and debt recovery within the group.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure all team members meet performance targets.
- Ensure individual team member development needs are identified and addressed.
- Supervision of Debt Recovery Agents/Paralegals
- Liaise with external companies and the wider business.
- Negotiating and monitoring payment plans.
- Carrying out residency and other searches and assessing Debtors’ ability to pay.
- Issuing Part 7 and Part 8 Proceedings and making Applications.
- Preparing schedules and other Court documents.
- Liaising with High Court Enforcement.
- Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, we're looking for someone who brings a blend of must-have skills and experiences, along with those extra special qualities that can really make a difference to our team and business.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- 12 months + leadership experience, preferably in Debt Recovery.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of Civil procedure and litigation.
- Experience of effectively running a caseload of files and dealing with queries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills and/or experience of leading a team within a commercial environment.
- Ability to interact with debtors in a professional and appropriate manner.
- Ability to solve problems by way of critical analysis and effective decision making.
- Ability to coach and support others.
- Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills.
- IT literate.
- Ability to develop and motivate self and others.
