With two manufacturing sites in Pontefract and a warehouse in Castleford, we design and produce an extensive range of cabinet and upholstered furniture. Proudly manufacturing in the UK, our passion for design drives us to embrace new ideas and challenges.

Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for a Production Operative to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

**Working Hours**:

- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

**Breaks**:

- Two 15-minute breaks (unpaid)
- One 30-minute break (paid)

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble furniture components using appropriate hand tools, power tools and equipment ensuring precision and adherence to technical specifications.
- Support skilled operators across various departments, contributing to efficient workflow and production continuity.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings or assembly instructions to ensure construction of furniture items.
- Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any faults or maintenance need to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare finished products for despatch, including final cleaning and labelling
- Adhere strictly to Health & Safety protocols, maintaining a clean, organised and hazard free work environment.

**Skills Required**:

- Proven experience in furniture manufacturing would be beneficial but not essential as full training is provided
- Problem-solving skills
- Proactive team player
- Excellent attendance and time keeping record
- Willingness to undergo further training and development
- Attention to detail is critical along with a positive attitude
