We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate and engaging Heritage Coordinator to join our team in Newcastle Under Lyme. As our Heritage Coordinator you will have a knowledge and a drive to share our rich local heritage; utilising our facilities to provide and promote a wide range of occupational, therapeutic, social and cultural **activity** programmes in the village that meet the needs of our customers and the wider community; ensuring that both household customers and our day visitors are engaged in a level of meaningful activity that will enable them to lead an enriched and fulfilled life. You will be adept at handling and storing artefacts and understand the importance of accurate record keeping and cataloguing.

As the Heritage Coordinator you will use your knowledge and skills to provide diverse, interesting and fun activities; sharing innovation, excellence and joy in activity with existing staff members and volunteers to ensure our customers live their best life’s.

This is a fantastic role for someone who really cares about the local heritage and health and wellbeing in the peoples later years. You will be experienced in a similar role and have the ability to plan and schedule activities. You will lead a team to implement events that suit the needs of the individual customer in group and 1-2-1 sessions. You should also be confident in your ability to engage and develop relationships with local community groups and organisations, including funding partnerships and local agencies. This role is full time working and you will need to be flexible in your approach to cover evenings and weekends.

Salary £11.40 p/h
