The acquisition has secured our role as a critical supplier to the next generation of UK defence programmes. As part of this programme of work our plant and equipment will be modernised over the next 10 years, creating new opportunities for the business and our colleagues.

Based at our 64 acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield, we are looking for a Operations Support Coordinator. This role will involve operating as part of a team, to ensure that operational performance is maintained in accordance with the Machine Shop KPI’s.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Ensure accurate production data is captured and recorded electronically.
- Monitor KPI’s and present data to the production team.
- Book breakdowns on the maintenance management system, when required.
- Ensure all holidays are booked correctly and time sheets are updated on the payroll system.
- Arrange medicals and appointments online.
- Ensure that the department's training matrix is up to date and all colleagues are 100% compliant to all Health & Safety critical training.
- Ensure Time and Attendance is monitored and recorded correctly, highlighting any issues to shift managers.
- Approve labour and asset hours daily and provide data to the Finance department.
- Manage holiday requests, ensuring business needs are met.
- Conduct machine audits to ensure the quality management system is being followed.

**About You**
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Experience working in an engineering environment using manufacturing data capture software and payroll management experience.
- The ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines in a safe manner.
