Optimum Patient Care is a not-for-profit, social enterprise, working to improve the diagnosis, treatment and management of chronic diseases. We work with primary care practitioners and specialists to produce high quality patient profiles that facilitate improvements care, especially for those with chronic respiratory conditions.

A **Service Assistant** is required to join our external relations team, providing a day-to-day supervision of a small team of Coordinators.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis (3 days in office, 2 days at home) based in our central Norwich or Oakington, Cambridge office.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and successfully deliver plans for engagement with our stakeholders (clients, patients and G.P practices).
- Lead in the creation and provision of communication and engagement plans for our Project Managers.
- Monitor, measure and report on engagement activities.
- Respond and prepare communication templates to our stakeholders for use by the coordination team.
- Supervise the coordination team to achieve objectives.
- Recruit and coordinate the engagement and project activities with GP sites.
- Create presentation slides to help GP recruitment.

**Essential Experience**:

- Experience of NHS primary care or research projects and activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience of promotion of services to professional stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to work under pressure.
- High attention to detail, and ability to work on own initiative.
- The ability to work with others and contribute to a strong team ethic.
- Enthusiastic and motivated to learn and assimilate new skills for personal development.

**Additional desirable experience**:

- Supervisory experience

**Travel**:

- National travel to practices and stakeholder meetings will be a very occasional requirement of the role (a few times per year).

This is a full-time or close to full-time position with excellent opportunities for progression within the business. Flexible working hours can be accommodated to suit caring/personal commitments.

Salary range £27,000 - £30,000

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 37.5 per week
