This is an incredible and rewarding position for someone kind and understanding of a caring nature to assist a bright, calm, and polite gentleman in his 30s who has a significant physical disability and relies on his wheelchair for his mobility needs.

A flexible 10 hours per week, split over one or two days to suit the needs of both the service user and the chosen applicant, suitable between nursery and school times, with an extra 5 hours available at the employer's discretion. This is an ideal mother-friendly opportunity that allows for a flexible work-life balance with childcare responsibilities.

The individual will need support with light household tasks, daily activities, odd shopping errands, and exciting adventure outings of his choice. He will need help with all aspects of personal care and will rely on the experience and expertise of his carer to provide this.

The duties will take place in a calm, clean, and safe home environment occupied by the service user, his mother, and his main carer, who provides her assistance on separate occasions.

You must undertake a DBS check if required, the cost of which will be paid for.

Applicants must live in the surrounding areas of Hyndburn, Blackburn, and Rossendale, within a 12-miles radius of Accrington.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.74-£12.15 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
