**Job Purpose**

The role of
**Commercial Broker** is really important to us. You will be responsible for understanding the specific details of a risk and negotiating an outcome on behalf of a client that adds understood value to their business, as well as profit margin to ours.

We would love to welcome you to our
**Bellshill, ML4 3P**E
** **office, working hours of Monday-Friday 8.30am - 5:00pm.

**Your responsibilities day to day will be**
- Working with the account management teams to extract all pertinent information from a customer
- Negotiating with insurer partners in order to help to retain existing clients
- Maintaining excellent client and prospect files so renewal business can be won the following year (utilising Acturis insurance system)
- Selecting a market strategy that enables you to gain the optimal number of commercial terms.
- Looking for insurance cross-sell opportunities beyond motor insurance and working directly with a client to gather the right information
- Working on a variety of insurance products including fleet, commercial combined, goods in transit, cyber security and liability insurance

**What do we expect of you?**
- An understanding and enjoyment of negotiation.
- Excellent communication skills and the motivation to positively challenge colleagues in the name of compliance and process rigour.
- Previous commercial broking experience with larger SMEs or corporate businesses.
- Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate.
