**About the role**

We are currently seeking a Senior Planner to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the delivery of a customer focused responsive repairs and gas planning service along with supervising the planning of voids resources.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Line managing the Planners, ensuring that resources are scheduled efficiently
- Supporting the Planning and Operational Support Manager with the handling of repairs including related concerns, complaints, disrepair cases and ombudsman cases
- Supporting the development and successful implementation of service plans, monitoring customer satisfaction and maximising effectiveness
- Ensuring the most efficient use of operative time and materials through planning
- Monitoring the service and reporting to ensure that all performance targets are met
- Continually building the capability and knowledge of the team to identify risks, trends and opportunities to develop the service
- Ensuring that the team is multi-functional and that a consistent service can always be provided.

**What we are looking for**
- Experience of managing and developing a busy planning function within a customer focused repairs environment, ideally with a good understanding of responsive repairs, gas breakdowns and void works.
- Experience of leading and motivating a team to deliver objectives and targets, with proactive, positive performance management.
- Experience of managing Orchard and / or Service Connect or similar system.
- Ability to interrogate data and produce reports to support Manager in meeting KPIs
- Good negotiator/communicator who is capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
