**Key Responsibilities**:

- Eager to develop their skill set and engage in opportunities to further develop their knowledge
- Using their commercial skills to develop their own portfolio of clients and to self-sufficiently generate new business opportunities
- A respected member of a small team, participating in leadership meetings, marketing strategy planning, curating new ideas and providing constructive input in respect of the company’s development
- Highly skilled at effectively managing their own time and coordinating multiple active projects, business development and internal administrative tasks
- From time to time, expected to travel for client meetings and travel for face-to-face management meetings at least once a month at the company headquarters in the East of England

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Client focused and commercially aware
- Outgoing team player with strong relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Project management skills to manage internal, external and administrative requirements
- Competent using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Capable of working independently, but also in apart of a team
- Degree level qualifications, or sufficient previous industry experience
- Practical knowledge of import and export processes, trade procedures and documentation
- Competent completing classification and interpreting rules of origin
- Proven experience in public service, consulting or advisory background, or supply chain and logistics role with a focus on international trade, customs and excise
- Full UK driving license
