About the Role

Join our team as a **Security Officer** and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of individuals and property within your assigned area. As a vigilant observer, you will report activities and incidents at the client site, utilising tools such as wands and metal detectors. With a focus on service enhancement and ongoing training, you will contribute to maintaining a secure environment.

This position requires:
**Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 06.00 to 19.00**

**65 hours per week**

**SIA license required**

**Driving License or have good travel links**

Job Opportunity
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site
- Organising ID cards
- Escorting visitors around the site
- Monitor fire alarms with weekly tests, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
- Working with the open and close procedures of the site
- Maintain all logbooks and records and issue visitor/contractor passes, and handle lost property in accordance with the Assignment Instructions

Essential Skills
- SIA Licence
- Preferred with a background in Front of House/Reception experience
- Access to vehicle/good transport links
- 2yr Security Experience
- Customer service skills
- Must have a 5yr checkable history
- The ability to embody and uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
