**Customer Care Agent**

A bit about the role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Care Agent with experience of Collections to join our clients team.

Customer Care Agents are the main point of contact for customers who may experience financial difficulties. You will handle inbound customer calls, dealing with a range of queries, You will also make outbound calls relating to outstanding payments and to discuss payment plans for customers in financial difficulties.

Where and when:
Based at either the Portsmouth or Warrington site, the working hours will be 37.5 across five days of the week. The client operates between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday (varying shifts) including bank holidays and Saturdays.

What you need:

- Collections experience - ideally including payment plans, making payments, managing arrears and repossessions on Hire Purchase agreements.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience of dealing with customer financial difficulties, considering those who are financially vulnerable
- ideally within a regulated environment with an understanding of ‘treating customers fairly’. An understanding of FCA and FLA would be desirable.
- Experience of handing inbound and outbound customer and third party calls
- Experience of updating customer records quickly and accurately.
- High levels of verbal and written communication with strong influencing skills.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
