**Position: Part Time Trainee Underwriter (Lending)**

**Salary: £14.84 per hour**

**Hours: 16 hours per week - Thursday and Friday 4pm - 8pm and Saturday 9am - 6pm**

**OR**

**19 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 4pm - 8pm and Sunday 9-5**

**Location: Cardiff**

**Contract: Permanent**

The successful Trainee Underwriter will be responsible for the following:

- Making informed decisions in line with company lending policies
- Completing affordability checks and liaising directly with customers regarding their credit file
- Working to service level agreements in a fast paced, busy credit underwriter role
- Customer focused, with experience of working within a fast paced, customer service environment
- Great communication skills and the ability to lead difficult conversations is essential
- Willingness to learn, there is full training provided.
