**Stock Control Supervisor**
**Job Purpose**:

To help maintain and grow this standard, we’re seeking an experienced Stock Control Assistant Manager to oversee daily activities. Additionally, you’ll display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team. Your ultimate responsibility is to increase our operational efficiency in the Stock Control Department.
He/she will be working in conjunction with the Heads of Departments as well as the MD.
The responsibilities will include:
Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards
Ensure regulation of in-stock level complies with inventory parameters
Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels
Oversee the standard of merchandising to ensure appropriate presentation of stock
Collaborate with production suppliers to ensure manufactured products are of consistent quality
Engage in the forecast of supply and demand to obtain information useful in improving the continuity of supply chain
Oversee the functionality of electronic ordering systems and POS systems
Supervise the maintenance of a warehouse/storeroom and ensure proper arrangement of stock
Carry out stock management operations in line with set policies and procedures
Utilise specialised programs in maintaining record of store execution performance
Conduct assessment of supply chain to identify risks and develop solutions useful in minimising losses
Oversee the placing of orders and ensure requested goods are delivered on time
Establish and maintain good working relationships with suppliers to enable easier procurement of products
Work alongside warehouse teams to ensure required products are readily available
**Person specification**
- A solid knowledge of reporting processes. They will be able to establish good working relationships across the business that build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate data to meet reporting requirements
- A positive attitude, co-operative, willing to comply with company policies and procedures and work constructively with colleagues
- WMS experience is essential and Delta experience preferred
- Knowledge of ‘Sage 200’ Cloud-based accounting package or similar
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, both written and verbal with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure without supervision and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work on own enterprise and take the initiative
- Results, goals and measurement metrics orientated
- Professional attitude and outlook
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and be discrete
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- Drive for continuous improvement
- Be a team player and self-manage
- Will accept extra duties as situations arise
