**Archives Network Coordinator**:
Funded by this grant, we have an exciting opportunity for a Network coordinator to join the Library and Archives team at Kew to assist in the establishment and coordination of this network. This is a fixed term part-time post (2 days per week for 6 months). The post will be lined managed by Kew’s Senior Archivist & Records Manager, but will also have managerial input from Associate Director (Archive Services), University of Reading, who is the other lead partner in the network.
The key duties for the role will include facilitating the establishment of the network, coordinating discussions between members on the network’s vision and governance structure, and documenting this, as well as helping to establish the network’s website, curating content from network members to create an on-line exhibition show-casing archives relating to places, plants, and communities.
This vacancy is open to graduates, who have a strong understanding of the wider archive sector and experience of working in the archive (or the wider GLAM) sector, as well as demonstrable administrative experience and the proven ability to produce strategies, business and action plans. The ability to network and build collaborative, diverse and inclusive partnerships is essential.
