Kammac Limited is a dynamic warehousing and logistics company, who are growing rapidly with ambitions to grow and double in size.
We now wish to recruit an experienced HR professional to predominately manage and support our client site at Burton to ensure they have effective HR processes in place to support a fast growing organisation. This role will require flexibility as some travel will be required to support our Worksop site and work on central HR projects and will have the support of a central HR Team based in the Northwest.
**Job Purpose/Summary**
This is a hands-on role which will cover the entire HR spectrum. This role will require you to support the effective on boarding and off boarding of employees and everything in between. You will be responsible for advising and coaching managers in all aspects of HR to ensuring that it is in line with company policy and employment law.
With full responsibility for the site from the HR administration perspective, you will be responsible for drafting and creation of all relevant HR documentation.
Responsible for providing HR advice and guidance in line with company policy and legislation and supporting in dispute resolutions as required. You will also be responsible for the identification of development needs and providing appropriate recommendations.
Review the existing Kammac HR policies and make recommendations on how the policies can be effectively applied and streamlined on the client site, to ensure a cohesive approach.
**About you**
You will be a resilient and determined HR professional and you’ll ideally have experience of working within transport, warehousing, logistics or other relevant sector, with practical and demonstrable experience in HR, ideally with a Level 5 CIPD qualification.
We are looking for an individual who has strong HR operational experience, with creative and commercial awareness, who is prepared to get hands on. You’ll demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively influence and conduct yourself with tact and diplomacy when challenging Managers/employees.
You will be IT literate with confidence navigating HRIS systems to record all HR actions, update employee digital records, creating HR reports providing data insight and recommendations. As well as being familiar with implementing and delivering training on HR policy, process and systems.
**Business Knowledge / Experience**
- Provide HR advice and implement Kammac employee policies adapting for local client where required
- Implement and maintain HR efficient and effective HR records and processes
- Support managers to effectively deal with HR casework
- Improve employee engagement through events, effective communications and training
- Familiar with HRIS systems, ideally Mitrefinch
- Strong communication skills and effective working relationships at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills and able to manage and prioritise a busy workload
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Employment Law/GDPR legislation
- Strong IT Skills
- CIPD level 3 minimum ideally, CIPD level 5
