**About the Role**

Complete classroom services are seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Assistant to join our busy school office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with prior finance experience within a school setting to play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our finance operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Processing purchase orders, invoices, and payments
- Assisting with budget monitoring and financial reporting
- Supporting payroll processes and staff expense claims
- Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and school policies
- Responding to queries from staff, suppliers, and parents in a professional manner

**About You**

We are looking for someone who has:

- Previous finance experience within a school environment (essential)
- Good knowledge of financial systems and processes
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- Proactive, approachable, calm, and professional
- Highly organised, with excellent communication skills
- Able to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexible, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of a busy school environment
- Confident with numbers and proficient in Excel
- Ideally experienced in using financial systems in a school or education setting
