**Retail Team Leader Job Purpose**:
Has a hands on direct approach who can manage and motivate a sales led retail team. Communicates company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to team. Shows passion, motivates team members, assesses performance and is results orientated. Deputises in Manager’s absence, Assists management in operating the retail operation, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance. Communicates concerns and policies among management and team members.

**Team Leader Job Duties**:

- Supports team manager and performs management duties when manager is absent or out of office.
- Manages inventories and stock, including keeping detailed records of inventory use and sales, and advising management on ordering where necessary.
- Execute visual merchandising standards and ensure signage compliance in-line with Brand Management guidelines.
- Leads and motivates team responsible for, conducting briefs and delegating workload.
- Compliance checking via Mobaro systems and feedback.
- Understand back of house stock/ till systems and online retail website knowledge
- Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
- Drives and motivates team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conducts Observation on team and provides accurate feedback.
- Understand and have knowledge in relation to deal with ride photography and troubleshooting.
- Hands on approach, covering breaks, unit absences, low attendance.
- Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training.
- Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance.
- Communicates deadlines and sales goals to team members, actively engages in direct selling
- Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals.
- Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
- Generates and shares detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines.
- Ensures company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards.
- Provides quality guests service, including interacting with guests, answering guests enquiries, and effectively handling guests complaints.
- Ensure Health & Safety is complied with, audit units to ensure Health Safety checks are being conducted and up to date.

**Team Leader Skills and Qualifications**:
Team Leadership Experience, Product Knowledge and Industry Experience, Leadership Skills, Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills, Motivational Skills, Results-Oriented, Employee Training Experience, Interviewing Skills, Sales Skills, Self-Motivation, Strong Relationship Building, Customer Service Skills.

Expected hours: 40 per week
